A Boring Article on Parental Responsibilities [Article Review]

This article covers basic, common-knowledge aspects of parental responsibilities. That makes it a boring read…

Responsibilities of Good Parents
Parents havean enormous task of bringing up their children in the most responsible and appropriate manner. Parents desire to see their young ones grow up into adults of absolute high morals. All parents thus strive to make sure that they present themselves as good role models so that their children emulate them. However, some parents struggle too hard, only to discover that their frantic efforts proved futile. Such situations are the reasons why parents must strive to be responsible as far as their children are concerned. I will briefly explain the responsibilities of a good parent.
Responsible parents should provide for their children’s needs. They should make sure that all the children have basic needs. These are food, shelter and clothing. They should provide good education to their children. When this happens, the future of their children is brightened. Healthcare must also be in provision. A good healthcare plan includes living healthy lives and also medical attention when need be. It is the responsibility of good parents to offer protection to their children. Children should be safe from abuse, misuse, and violence at all costs. They should make sure that the children only access materials that are morally upright. What’s important is that they should ensure that they bring up children spiritually and holistically.
Good parents should love their children the way they are. They should accept them and offer parental guidance. The children might have their weaknesses, but it is the responsibility of good parents to help them overcome them. Parents should avoid comparing their children with the other kids. Such acts may demoralize the children. Good parents should offer a shoulder for their children to lean on whenever faced with a dangerous circumstance. Whenever the children go wrong, they should correct them lovingly and show them the right ways of doing things. Above all, responsible parents must refrain from favoring some of the children. This may brew enmity among the children.
Children have and will always look up to their parents.Good parents must, therefore, make sure they are good role models. They should think of their children before doing anything or making any rush decisions such as divorce. Fathers and mothers should not argue in front of their children. The parents are also advised to avoid dangerous vices in front of their children. They should ensure that they strive to perfect their lives so that they become good role models. However, parents should desist from pretence or becoming hypocrites. Children should not be overlooked hence any form of pretense will be detected and emulated. This, therefore, calls the need for sincerity.
In conclusion, it is the joy of all parents to see that their children mature to become productive members of the society. For this to happen, they must be responsible in many ways as discussed. It is crucial that the parents provide for the needs of their children. They should love and offer protection to their children. Good parents must act as role models whom the children will be eager to emulate. When parents commit themselves to perform all these responsibilities, they will not struggle to raise their children. They will ultimately and become not only responsibleparents but also the best friends and role models for their children.

1. Is It Practical/ Useful and Authoritative?

Avoid stating obvious facts. It comes off as filler content.

Although the information is practical, quoting/ citing authoritative sources would make it even more credible.

2. Is It Logical/ Coherent and Comprehensible?

Several contradictions appear in the first paragraph. Also, the frequent syntactical and grammatical errors create confusion.

3. Is It Unique and Captivating?

Boring title. The content also seems quite mundane (a gross understatement, in my view).

A long introduction can put off readers. Cut out the boring, repetitive parts and focus on the most captivating ones.

4. Is It Presentable and Relatable?

Since parents are the target audience, just say “you”. Most of all, the article desperately needs subtitles.
